An inward form built in a busy urban fabric this house is an extremely functional and interactive residence for its users. Traditional elements are intertwined within a contemporary setup to cater to the choices of its residents. The design approach was to create family oriented spaces filled with ample light and breeze with multiple functions for all its spaces.

Bright colours and elements in the form of interiors and upholstery brought in at various areas to create a myriad of experiences within the built form thus creating a collage of life in all its glory.

Built on a very compact site in a dense urban fabric flow of light and ventilation was more of a luxury rather than a necessity. Thus minimalistic spaces were created with simplicity and devoid of any ornamentation and were made to appear larger.

Rooms were placed on either side of the staircase which forms the central spine to the house connecting the forms to create a subtle yet evocative character to render a soothing ambience of life into the house.Skylights placed in rooms and bathrooms cleverly avoided the harsh sun but brought in ample lighting to the interiors.

An extremely outward looking contemporary house with a traditional palette, the building is beautifully carved within a landscaped boundary. Strategically placed rocks and boulders with the property enhances the natural vibe of the landscaped areas. Yellow coloured Jaisalmer marble flooring used adds ample warmth and oomph factor for the living quarters.

Large outdoors decks at upper levels with the sloped roof overhangs creates a mystical feel and is equally functional, engaging and interactive for its users.Free flow of light and ample breeze through large windows engage in a dramatic experience within the interiors.
