Serene yet composed, this house is a classic example of how a busy urban site can be transformed into an intimate living space. An inward-looking house with an internal garden the entire living quarters is planned around this landscaped court.

There is an interplay of light and shadow from the skylight of the common area which appears as a constantly changing painting that keeps the living space lively throughout the day. Thus the built is seen flowing around the natural environment blurring the boundaries between the exteriors and the interiors.
